ASERC Meets Ministry of Lands on Regulatory and Infrastructural Coordination

On 25 November 2025, the Anambra State Electricity Regulatory Commission (ASERC) paid a formal courtesy visit to the Ministry of Lands. The Commission engaged the Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Prof. Offornze Amucheazi, and the Permanent Secretary, Barr. Nkiru Mokwe, alongside senior ministry officials.

Discussions centered on:

• Land administration requirements for power infrastructure
• Right-of-Way (RoW) challenges affecting electricity projects
• Interagency coordination to support ASERC’s regulatory duties

The meeting reinforced the importance of seamless collaboration between regulatory bodies and land administration authorities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electricity infrastructure development in Anambra State.
